If you type them on one line you should skip the \ signs that tells the shell the command continues on the next line. Since the command line in these examples are long, they have been broken into several lines. I can scan with:- scanimage (part of the SANE package) LibreOffice (via the TWAIN interface) So the scanner works, and the TWAIN interface seems to work. I've installed the SANE package to provide support for the scanner via TWAIN.
